The iQuatics universal flap sets are made from tough 3mm back ABS plastic to ensure they stand up to the rigors of your aquatic environment.
Not only are they perfect to use alongside your AquaLumi Universal on your Juwel aquarium but they are also fully compatible with existing Juwel® light units, so if the top of your tank is looking a little tired or you’ve holes where you shouldn’t these are the perfect way to give it a new lease of life!
Available in two variations, with pre-cut holes to fit a Juwel® Skimmer and Auto Feeder or without holes giving that clean look to the hood of your aquarium. Unlike a standard Juwel® flap set, we have designed these with a removable magnetic safety handle, of course in the shape of our little fish geek mascot! Being able to remove the handle makes it harder for unwanted hands or objects to find their way into your aquarium.
We use a strong epoxy coated magnet in both the handle and the lid to ensure that they are strong enough to lift your lid and they are will not rust!

Fantastic product excellent customer support
My Fluval aquarium lighting unit failed. When looking for a replacement the cost being quoted became excessive to the point it would have been a better option for us and economic sense to replace the aquarium. Continuing the search online we found on Amazon Iquatics universal aquarium light fittings but they did not advertise the correct size we required. I went direct to the IQuatics web site and used the call back assistance option to help me with my purchase. I spoke to Andrew and he explained their product and what it could achieve though at present they did not have the size we required in stock but could manufacture one to fit. He sent me a link to help with the correct measurement of the light recess and on submitting these figures he phoned me back with further measuring advice. The item was manufactured and supplied within four days which included a weekend at a very reasonable price. The item is excellent with outstanding manufacturing quality. Andrew did explain that the original top cover flaps will leave a small gap but his company could manufacture replacement flaps to fit. He recommend fitting the new lighting unit first to allow correct and accurate measurements to be taken which I did and they have now been manufactured, delivered and fitted. What fantastic customer service and quality items. I would highly recommend this company and must pass on a special thank you to Andrew for his help and advice.
