iQuatics Bio Medic is an extremely effective water conditioner which is used to control external fish parasites, both in marine and freshwater environments.

Bio Medic contains a unique oxidizing agent which is extremely effective against the following:
Marine Ich – Cryptocaryon irritans
Freshwater Ich – Ichthyophthirius Multifiliis
Marine Velvet – Amyloodinium Ocellatum

iQuatics Bio Medic has a special formula that is completely safe to use in all aquariums, the composition of the crystalline salts act as a buffering agent to maintain a constant physiological ph.

Unlike other treatments on the market, Bio Medic targets the free swimming stage of the troublesome parasite irradiating Marine Ich and Freshwater Ich.

Directions:
– Use 1 level scoop of Bio Medic for every 190L of your system volume twice a day.
– For serious cases use 3 level scoops of Bio Medic for every 190L of your system volume twice a day.
– If possible, the dosing interval should preferably be 12 hours apart.
– Treatment must be used for a minimum of 10 days up to a maximum of 20 days.

Important note while dosing:
Ozone and carbon must not be used during the treatment period. Protein skimmers can be run as normal and UV may be used 1 hour after dosing.

Additional notes:
The problem may seem like it’s disappeared when the white specks are no longer evident on the fish. This is merely a part of the natural cycle of the parasite, therefore you must continue dosing Bio Medic for the minimum course of 10 days to gain maximum benefit.
After the treatment is complete it is recommended to use iQuatics activated Airo carbon for 2/3 days to remove any remaining medication from the water column
