Currently using Juwel T5 tubes? Our bulbs are 100% compatible with Juwel® units. This tube can be used on 55cm and 60cmlight units. The following aquariums can be fitted with this tube: The following aquariums can be fitted with this tube:
Rio 240, Rio 300, Vision 260. These T5’s are also compatible with the Aquatlantis range of T5 Lighting.
High Output T5’s are better to use in your aquarium lighting than the regular T8 as they have increased water penetration and are more efficient. You don’t lose the illumination at the bottom of the deeper tanks.With this lighting you are not restricted as much to the content of your aquarium, stock levels can be increased without the worry of inadequate levels of light.

using these after having T8 tubes forever.The difference is nothing short of incredible.
These tubes make all the difference between having a well planted flourishing aquarium.
to having an aquarium with plants that grow like you have never seen before.
There is no excuse for anyone not being able to grow tropical plants anymore.
The light penetrates right to the bottom of the tank,making even the small hard to grow plants take on a new lease of life.

I ordered 3 of these for my Juwel Vision 260 tank after yet another Juwel T5 bulb blew.
They are a lovely colour and nice and bright 🙂 has really made the tank look good.
One unfortunately came broken despite the great packaging. I contacted iquatics with pictures of the broken one and got an email and a phone call very promptly to say they were going to send another 🙂 That arrived in one piece although the courier had squashed the corner. Can’t fault iquatics customer service 🙂

T5 splendour
A very compatibly priced T5 with enormous potential. The spectral representation and versatility is beyond description. You will have to try it to see the subtle enhancement it affords your aquatic friends/inhabitants. The spectral width is set perfectly which somehow accentuates the reds and purples without exaggeration or undue flattery. The presentation and packaging just looks good and the two lugs at both ends looks and feels and fits the part snugly. The tube locks into place smoothly and functionality begins. The external wrapping to the tubes may be a little “drab” to some of you. But be hold! the quality of these T5 speaks for themselves..iQuatics have done it again. I will buy more if prices cut further?

The bulbs give of a nice pink hue which makes my aquascape pop. It brings out all the reds, oranges and yellows really well. Much better value than the official Juwel bulbs.
As for plant growth and longevity only time will tell. So far so good.
