Rinse before use. Use in a fine mesh (180 micron or less) filter bag such as iQuatics Fine Mesh Nets For best results, Pure Gone should be placed in a high flow area of the aquarium. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter.
Each 250 mL treats up to 1,000L for up to six months.
Unlike other media of this type iQuatics Pure-Gone is an affordable long-lasting solution to your No3, No2 & Nh4 removal. PureGone can be fully “recharged” once it’s reached its maximum absorption levels.
Regeneration is a simple process, iQuatics Pure-Gone will change colour from its original blonde to an almost black. The regeneration is made by submerging iQuatics Pure-Gone in a solution of water and bleach (1:1 ratio) for 24 hours.
This process should be carried out in a non-metallic container in a well-ventilated area and away from children & pets.
Non-scented/coloured bleach should be used & productions should be taken to ensure that this procedure is performed safely. Once iQuatics Pure-Gone has recharged it should be soaked in a de-chlorinator for around 8 hours or left to fully dry/gas off before being added back to the aquarium.
Suitable for use in both Freshwater and Saltwater Aquariums.
