iQuatics Bio-Pure Rings are really simple to use, they require nothing more than a rinse in water (RODI recommended) to remove any dust before adding to your aquarium.

Pure rings are great to add to your media baskets in your aquarium/pond filter or can be added directly into a sump, they can be stacked individually or used within a net bag like the iQuatics filter media net (available separately)

Regeneration/Cleaning

iQuatics Pure rings can be re-used, however, the process is quite lengthy and includes bleaching and baking them, we would certainly recommend a regular rinse in old tank water during your water change but recharging isn’t really worth the effort when Pure rings are so cost-effective. It’s important never to rinse your Pure rings in tap water, this can and will destroy any nitrifying/denitrifying bacteria
