As a marine fish keeper for over 20 years I have seen many fads come and go and can say that Ocean reef pro coral salt is not one of them is extremely high levels of calcium magnesium and alkalinity virtually eliminated in the fact for any extra dozing this in itself has saved me roughly £250 per year on dosing elements add to that extreme low cost this out and the fact that it available in handy refill packs I could not write this so I highly enough I have told most of my marine friends about this salt and only after seeing the lack of dosing and the savings which this salt brings are they actually believe me my my tank is heavily stocked with both SPS and LPS corals and that’s it so it’s half the price of any of its closest competitors it’s a no-brainer

I was pleasantly surprised by your product.
I recently swapped over to Ocean Reef Pro Salt from Red sea Coral Pro. To be honest the only reason I changed was because my LFS had no stock of the Red Sea Salt. Fortunately, Amazon were offering free next day delivery through Amazon Prime. so I decided to give it a try. In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised by your product. I ordered the 10kg refill pack which came in a sturdy box well sealed with strong inner bag. I transferred the salt to my empty salt buckets and proceeded to mix up a batch of 20 Litres at 20c. As I always find with salts the amount required (830g) to mix up to 35 ppt is always greater than stated on the box. Although the mix was clear within 10 – 15 mins , I decided to leave the salt to allow for gas exchange overnight. The next day I brought up my temp to 25c and tested the main params. PH 8.3 , Mag 1415 ppm. Cal 450ppm and Alk 8 dKH. The following week I mixed up another batch and once again the Params were very close to the first batch. Overall I am very impressed with your salt and intend to keep using your brand in the future. Both my Euphyllias and my Montiporas tanks seem very happy with your salt to, showing good polyp extension and good colour. The only regret I have is that if I had bought the tub version I would have gotten a free towel. Oh well I will just have to hope you still have the offer on for my next order. On my second batch of iquatics ocean reef pro. Was delivered quickly and well packaged. Salt mixes up a lot better than much more expensive brands I’ve used. No residue left in mixing bucket. All parameters checked on both orders and came out spot on (ph ca mag tested). No po4 or No3 present. All in a great salt mix and can’t be beaten on price.
